Platonic Solids
Platonic solids are three dimensional shapes that have equal sides, angles and faces. Used during crystal meditation, they are said to help bring your vibrations into harmony with the rhythms of nature.
Each shape is used to for a different purpose during meditation as follows:
Hexahedron/Cube
The hexahedron is used for grounding. It is linked to the Base or Root Chakra and represents the Earth energy. Tetrahedron/Pyramid
The Tetrahedron is used for health. It is linked to the Solar Plexus Chakra and represents Fire. Octahedron
The Octahedron is used for peace, love and spiritual development. It is linked to the Heart Chakra and represents Air. Dodecahedron
The Dodecahedron is used for meditation and focus. It is linked to the Higher Self and represents the Universe. Icosahedron
The Icosahedron is used to connect to sexuality and emotions. It is linked to the Sacral Chakra and represents Water Merkeba/Star of David
The Merkeba is used to give protection during meditation and to allow the spirit to travel to a higher plane. It represents the Spirit or Energy Body surrounded by spirals of energy.
Smoky Quartz is an efficient grounding and protecting stone. It gently dispels negative energies and protects against them. It is also said to be an effective pain reliever.
