Tanzanite is the lavender-blue form of Zoisite. It is a rare crystal found only in Tanzania in Africa.
Tanzanite is said to be of benefit to workaholics, and to those who are overworked, as it is thought to calm an overactive mind, to relax you and to slow you down. This brings you back into balance, so that you can lead a less stressful, more organised, healthier and more productive life.
Tanzanite is good stone to use during crystal meditation as its high vibrational energy can facilitate a deep meditative state. It is also said to enhance psychic abilities and to open the heart, elevating the mood and bringing feelings of peace. In addition Tanzanite's blue colour activates the Throat Chakra encouraging clear communication.
